We are a family run business established in 1983 by Roger Smith and wife Ann.

Whilst Roger and Ann have taken well deserved retirement, the company is now run by daughter Donna and sons Craig and Marcus.

Roger started out working for his father in the building trade at a young age, so it was no surprise that son Marcus followed Roger's footsteps and started working alongside him at just 17 years of age. Craig, after serving several years in the Armed Forces then joined the family business to be on hand and offer his expertise on site. Daughter Donna took over from Roger's sister helping alongside Ann to make up the admin team. Our company has continued to grow and we are in the 3rd generation of the family working at Roger Smith Installations. One of Marcus' sons Jake, now runs a team on site with the other son Sam working alongside his father (when he's not studying at University).

Being in the roofing industry for over 38 years, there isn't much that we don't know about our trade. We have been trusted by thousands of home owners, Over 29,000 homes in fact, as we currently complete around 800 installations in our surrounding areas each year! Most of our work comes through personal recommendations which we regard as one of the most important aspects of choosing an installer. We take pride in our work and all of our installations carry a 20 year workmanship guarantee on top of the various product guarantees available. The result is a job of excellence and worth.

We believe in using local labour. We employ our staff directly so you can be assured of our loyal fitting teams that have been with us for years to give a superb installation. We do not risk our impeccable reputation by using sub-contracted or self employed fitters which means you as our customer, get the best levels of service possible. All staff are trained to the highest professional standards that Roger Smith Installations upholds, this includes training by RSI from the knowledge passed through generations and from leading suppliers: Rubberbond EPDM roofing and Kestrel meaning our installations are fitted to standards well beyond most of our competitors.

We provide a FREE quotation carried out by Craig or Marcus, NOT by a high pressure salesman. During our quotation we explain what should be involved when replacing roofing/ roofline etc using no unnecessary technical jargon. Our quotes only take a short time to carry out and are sent to you in writing with no obligation, meaning it really is up to you. There are no pressure follow up calls. We give a firm quotation and do not start at an inflated price so there is no need to barter.

We are all aware of cowboy builders and opportunists that prey on the misinformed. We put our success down to treating our customers as we like to be treated ourselves and have always given an efficient personal service. We do not ask for any deposit, payment is on completion of the installation.
